The latest data from the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (KCPAO) shows something rare these days: a real, measurable drop in shootings. In the first three months of the year, 60 people were shot in King County. That includes 13 people killed and 47 others wounded. Compared to the same time last year, that is a 41% drop.
It is the lowest level we have seen since before the pandemic…
