OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – RIVERSPORT is hosting its annual free Learn to Row Day on Saturday, June 7.
The event is being held in conjunction with USRowing’s National Learn to Row initiative. Beginners, ages 14 and older, are welcome to receive a free, hands-on rowing lesson.

“Learn to Row Day is a fun, no-pressure way to try rowing for the first time,” said Chris Sorensen,RIVERSPORT executive director. “Whether you’re curious about fitness, teamwork or just want to try something new, this is a great way to start.”
According to RIVERSPORT, attendees should wear comfortable clothes, athletic shoes and socks. They should also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and a water bottle…
