BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The city of Arvin announced on Facebook it is providing pre-designed plans for homeowners interested in building an accessory dwelling unit.
The plans, which have been pre-approved by the Arvin Planning Division, are available for free to help speed up the building approval process and lower the costs, according to the city.
City officials said three ADU size plans are available:
- 479-square-foot one-bedroom unit
- 498-square-foot one-bedroom unit
- 749-square-foot two-bedroom unit
