Westchester County District Attorney Susan Cacace announced that a Bronx man was charged with two counts each of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, a class A felony, and First-Degree Rape, a class B violent felony, for allegedly raping a child.
Hakeem Anderson, 32, was arraigned on the indictment Tuesday morning before Westchester County Court Judge Robert Prisco, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges. Anderson is being held without bail at the Westchester County Jail. A temporary order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
DA Cacace said: “The tender age of the victim in this case renders these allegations beyond comprehension. Our office will ensure that she has all the care and support she needs as the criminal process plays out. I am grateful that our law enforcement partners were able to locate the defendant after he fled and return him to face justice in Westchester County.”…
