BALD KNOB, Ark. – The income of Arkansas farmers is trending in the positive direction for the first time in two years, but there’s a catch. It is not because most farmers are turning a profit.
According to projections from the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture, federal aid will become the primary driver of farm income growth this year, which will not equally assist all farmers struggling to grow year after year.
