LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — A longtime public defender who won a racial discrimination lawsuit against the Arkansas Public Defender Commission believes it was all worth it, despite being awarded less than she had hoped.
Brenda Stallings, who has worked in the Pulaski County Juvenile Court system since 2001, claimed she discovered in 2017 that she was being paid far less than less-experienced white colleagues hired after her.
