275 people arrested in operation by ICE’s San Antonio office

Federal agents arrested 275 people who were in the United States illegally during an enforcement operation last week, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s San Antonio field office announce.

The agency said the suspects were arrested during a May 11-17  operation that was “focused on increasing public safety.”

The agency described 178 of the people arrested as “criminal aliens,” facing charges that included domestic violence, cocaine possession, larceny, driving under the influence, drug trafficking, weapon offenses and assault…
