Man Convicted Of Assault In Berthoud Incident

Jurors found a Florida man guilty of first-degree assault and felony menacing this week in connection with an incident in Berthoud in February of 2024 in which he was accused of assaulting a family member. The Loveland Reporter Herald reports after a trial in 8th Judicial District Court in Fort Collins, Robert Johnson, 21, was convicted of assault and menacing, both felonies, as well as misdemeanor assault and obstructing telephone service. Jurors, however, found him not guilty of attempted murder, the most serious of the charges he faced.
