Man arrested after shooting near Lebanon Housing Authority office

LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) — Officers with the Lebanon Police Department are investigating after gunshots were reported near a Lebanon Housing Authority property.

According to the LPD, officers responded to Upton Heights Tuesday night after receiving multiple calls from citizens regarding gunshots. When they arrived, the discovered a man lying in front of the Lebanon Housing Authority Office with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Officers rendered aid to the man until other first responders arrived on the scene before he was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition. At the same time, officers and a deputy with the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office detained a suspect at the scene, according to LPD.
