NILES, Ohio (WKBN) — Ohio 15 year-old Chase Miller is battling a brain tumor but he says he’s looking forward to summer, thanks to Make-A-Wish. The foundation has organized a trip to sunny San Diego in June.
“I’m looking forward to the water — mainly because it’s like a nice, clear water. So I’m ready to swim in it,” Chase told WKBN on what was the first day of his summer break.

It’s been a tough fight for the sophomore. Previous surgery couldn’t remove all of the cancer in his brain. Chase is currently receiving immunotherapy treatments and he’ll soon have another MRI.
Right now, doctors are just trying to slow the tumor…
