NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – With local, state and federal agencies launching audits into the escape of inmates from the New Orleans jail, the Metropolitan Crime Commission says early investigations indicate the jail staff could have done more to prevent the incident.
“We know some of the failures and what went wrong, we just don’t know why,” said Rafael Goyeneche, president of the Metropolitan Crime Commission.
