California fire officials on Wednesday announced the seizure of more than 100,000 pounds of illegal fireworks from a licensed fireworks importer/exporter that was allegedly not following regulations.
The Cal Fire Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) responded to a claim that a licensed fireworks importer/exporter in Commerce, in Los Angeles County, was not following regulations required by their licensure.
Officials did not name the business, or specify which regulations were not followed, but the investigation resulted in the seizure of more than 100,000 pounds of illegal fireworks…
