NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nashville authorities took a man and four teens into custody Thursday night after they allegedly fled from police in a stolen vehicle while traveling at “excessive speeds.”
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Violent Crimes detectives observed a Nissan Altima traveling at excessive speeds on Thursday, May 22 near Tyler Drive. Officials added the Nissan was reported stolen Wednesday morning from an apartment complex on Bell Road.

One of the passengers seen getting into the vehicle was identified as 16-year-old Jamarcus Menzies, who was reportedly wanted on three counts of aggravated robbery.
At some point, an MNPD helicopter observed the group abandon the Nissan on Elm Hill Pike at Emory Drive. Police said the group was then seen getting into a green Dodge Charger, which also traveled at a high rate of speed before stopping at an apartment complex on Creative Way…
