AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — On Friday, the City of Amarillo announced the launch of a trial drive-thru option for water bill payments beginning May 27.
According to COA officials, the drive-thru will be located on the north side of City Hall at 623 S. Johnson St. During the trial period, citizens can use the COA Utility Billing Mobile Unit to pay at the drive-thru without needing to enter City Hall.
Drive-thru service will be available for water bill payments only from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. COA officials said the service is being tested to assess community interest in a potential permanent option in the future.
