The northbound lanes of the North Freeway reopened just before 7 p.m. Thursday following a deadly motorcycle crash that caused heavy backups for some commuters.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed one person died in the crash involving a motorcycle and a tow truck at I-45 northbound at Cypresswood.

It’s unclear what led to the crash, but it did cause the highway to be shut down for a couple of hours…
