Two men, teen boy charged in armed robbery in downtown Bethesda, police say

BETHESDA, Md. (7News) — Two 20-year-old men and a teenage boy were charged in an armed robbery in downtown Bethesda last month, according to Montgomery County Police.

Jason Castello, Nicholas Clarkson and an unamed teen were arrested in the April 21, 2025, robbery in the area of Woodmont Avenue and Old Georgetown Road, according to police.

Police said the trio approached four other teens and one of the suspects allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at one of the victims. The suspects then allegedly demanded money and took money and property from the victims. The suspects reportedly ordered the victims to then walk to a nearby ATM, demanded they withdraw more money and then threatened to kill them if they reported the crime…
