HOUSTON (KIAH) — Starting Monday and especially into Tuesday, things get more interesting. A series of weak upper-level disturbances—and possibly a weak cold front—could bring us scattered showers and storms.
Right now, Tuesday looks like our best shot at meaningful rain, with some models suggesting above-average moisture that could bring moderate to heavy rain, especially across East Texas and the Piney Woods.
That rain could knock high temperatures back into the upper 80s, giving us a slightly more spring-like feel as we head into late May.
Bottom Line
- Next Week: Unsettled weather pattern develops—better rain chances Tuesday, and maybe some cooler temps.
