The Thomaston Police Department has arrested two suspects in connection with the February 20, 2025, robbery of United Bank located at 1111 Hwy 19 North.
The suspects, identified as Jaylin Smith, 18, and Andrew Holsapple, 19, both of Nashville, Tennessee, are now in custody. Investigators say Smith entered the bank and committed the robbery while Holsapple waited nearby in a vehicle.
Authorities determined both individuals were already wanted in Tennessee for their roles in a similar bank robbery in Nashville that occurred in January 2025. At the time of the Thomaston robbery, the suspects had been staying at a local hotel while visiting a friend in the area…
