NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Three suspects believed to be connected to a string of residential burglaries across multiple states — including recent break-ins in Brentwood and Nashville — have been arrested following a coordinated law enforcement investigation.
According to Brentwood Police, detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigations Division linked a May burglary in the Witherspoon subdivision to other similar incidents in the area. A joint effort between Brentwood Police, Metro Nashville Police, the Tennessee Highway Patrol and additional agencies led to the identification of three suspects.
On May 23, the Tennessee Highway Patrol stopped a vehicle in Chattanooga carrying the suspects. The men presented counterfeit Peruvian identification, but a search of the car uncovered burglary tools, clothing matching descriptions from earlier crimes and several Rolex watches reported stolen in a Missouri home burglary.
