Cloudy skies, scattered showers expected Monday in the Piedmont Triad

PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — Cloudy skies remain into the overnight hours Sunday into Monday morning. Temperatures will be falling into the low 60s into early Monday morning and overall Monday looks like a cooler and cloudy day with scattered showers.

We’ll see rain move in late Sunday night/early Monday morning and showers will linger off and on throughout the morning and even into the afternoon. The best chance for widespread rain looks to be Monday morning with scattered showers lingering into the second half of the day. Temperatures will barely move due to the cloud cover and scattered showers, keeping us in the 60s most of the day. The chance for rain on Monday is 50%.

Several rounds of rainfall move in on Tuesday and linger throughout the day. We’ll likely see more time with rain than dry time with an 80% chance for showers. Temperatures will start in the mid-50s Tuesday morning with highs reaching the low 60s in the afternoon…
