Birds and people singing made for some wonderful music.
BIRDERS, novice and seasoned, were out and about with their binoculars during the Biggest Week in American Birding, a 10-day festival in northwest Ohio, “The Warbler Capital of the World!” for spring songbird migration. Birders were everywhere in area parks, wetlands, and forests. Maumee Bay State Park Lodge was the headquarters where there were bird identification workshops, tours, birding by canoe, walks at the world famous Magee Marsh, a bird tattoo contest, birder prom, bird trivia night, and more.
