Seven adults celebrate b’nai mitzvah at Beh El-The Heights Synagogue

Cleveland Heights resident Mick Miller never found comfort in his Catholic upbringing.

He grew up in Lakewood, where he attended St. Clement Catholic Parish, alongside his parents and six siblings and spent most of his life “searching.”

“It was always a hole in my life,” Miller, 70, told the Cleveland Jewish News. “I kind of felt like I had to have a balanced life, a physical life, intellectual life and a spiritual life. I never could find a good home and at some point, it just became really important for me to fill that in.”…
