Chef Sean Brock Brings Southern Heat to South Beach

James Beard Award-winning chef Sean Brock is swapping Nashville for Miami Beach this week. For one night only, he will bring his acclaimed Southern cooking to Ray’s Hometown Bar. The pop-up event will take place on Thursday, May 29, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Freehand Miami hotspot.

Brock will serve his signature “Hickory Grilled Burger” paired with tallow fries for $19. The burger features smoked kewpie, dried tomato, Vidalia onions, and Tennessee buttermilk cheddar. The dish aims to pair well with Ray’s house cocktails like the “Stevie Ray” (tequila or mezcal with pineapple, lime, and agave) and the “Miami Vice” frozen cocktail.
