Local 6th grader to compete in Scripps National Spelling Bee

WARRENVILLE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – We have a local contestant from Warrenville in this year’s Scripps National Spelling Bee.

The 243 champions from across the country are heading to National Harbor, Maryland, to compete for the title.

The University of South Carolina is honoring fallen Gamecocks with a plaque at Williams-Brice Stadium.
