CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — A Caldwell man accused of killing his wife and staging it to look like a suicide has been found guilty.
On Friday, May 23, 2025, Francisco Torres-Rodriguez was found guilty of first-degree murder of his wife, Reyna Quintero. According to court records, prosecutors accused Torres-Rodriguez of shooting Reyna in the head, staging it to look like a suicide, then manipulating his daughter into finding the body.
According to evidence released at trial, Torres-Rodriguez can be seen on security camera smoking a cigarette rather than contacting emergency services after the shooting.
