EUGENE, Ore. — Six lawsuits have been filed against a dental practice that abruptly shut its doors last year, leaving patients without treatment for which they pre-paid.
Last year, KEZI 9 News spoke with Greg Valentine, a patient of Pacific Northwest Implant Studio and General Dentistry on Division Avenue, who said he showed up to his scheduled appointment at to find the doors locked. Valentine tried to call his dentist, Matthew Byrne, but received no response.
Valentine said he had been given a dental plan, and paid $15,000 for it up front. Everything was going smoothly, until Valentine said six months into the process his appointments started to get pushed back…
