Motorcycle crash closes lanes on Highway 2 south of Colbert

SPOKANE, Wash. — A motorcycle crash triggered by a failure to yield shut down several lanes of Highway 2 just south of Colbert on Tuesday morning.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the collision occurred when a car traveling north pulled out in front of a southbound motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. The driver of the car, a woman who was wearing a seatbelt, was also taken to the hospital as a precaution…
