BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — A man was convicted on several charges related to the death of his father and several violent crimes against his mother in 2017, announced the Kern County District Attorney last week.
On May 23, 2025, a Kern County jury convicted Edward James Pull of second-degree murder in the death of his father. He was also found guilty of crimes against his mother, which included assault with an AR-15 style rifle, causing great bodily injury, false imprisonment, elder abuse, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Several firearm and great bodily injury enhancements were also found to be true.
