University of Nebraska–Lincoln launches comprehensive Community Resources Database

LINCOLN, Neb. — The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has unveiled a new webpage that consolidates its extensive array of resources, services, and programs for Nebraska communities. The Community Resources Database, developed by the university’s Engagement Collaborative group and Nebraska Extension, serves as a centralized hub for Nebraskans seeking guidance on topics ranging from agriculture to technology.

“This is one way we’re living up to our land-grant mission — taking research and resources at the university and making them available to all Nebraskans,” said Jentry Barrett, Nebraska Extension engagement zone coordinator.

Previously scattered across various college and department pages, the resources are now organized into 20 categories, simplifying access to public classes, workshops, community services, and more. Barrett noted, “Before, you had to know a program existed and where to find it. Now, everything’s in one place, organized in a way that’s easier to navigate.”…
