BOISE, Idaho — Memorial Day weekend proved to be a busy one for deputies with the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office after responding to multiple incidents on the Snake River and in the South Hills.
The office said marine deputies were called to assist several boaters, including a family on their first outing with a new boat. Their trip ended early after striking submerged rocks and damaging their boat’s lower unit. Deputies towed the family back to the docks at 1,000 Springs.
