PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A driver and his passenger narrowly escaped injury when another motorist allegedly opened fire on their vehicle in a road rage fit in Port St. Lucie on Sunday evening, leaving police on the hunt for answers.
The Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) said that on Sunday at 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of road rage involving shots being fired in the area of Southeast Crosstown Parkway and Southeast Sandia Drive.
