Multi-million dollar North Texas mansion catches fire after ‘possible lightning strike,’ fire department says

FORT WORTH, Texas — A multi-million dollar mansion-style home right off Benbrook Lake caught fire Wednesday morning after a “possible lightning strike,” according to the Fort Worth Fire Department.

The FWFD said fire crews responded to the 10,000-square-foot home on Sanctuary Heights Road in Fort Worth at approximately 8:10 a.m. Wednesday. By 8:45 a.m., the fire was upgraded to a second alarm, FWFD said.

The roof collapsed as fire crews battled the fire, and no one was injured as all residents made it safely out of the home, FWFD said…
