Woman Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run on Camp Creek Parkway, South Fulton Police Seek Witnesses

A tragic hit-and-run incident on Camp Creek Parkway has claimed the life of an unidentified woman, according to South Fulton Police Department. The fatal encounter unfolded late Monday night just south of Old Fairburn Road, with officers learning of the situation after South Fulton Fire Engine #15 stumbled upon an unresponsive adult female in the roadway; she ultimately succumbed to her injuries sustained from being struck by a vehicle, a distressing turn of events that has left authorities chasing shadows as the accountable party vanished into the night, South Fulton police told WSB-TV.

While the grim discovery was made by fire personnel, the South Fulton Police spearheaded the investigation, not yet able to offer a description of the vehicle nor its operator, as per FOX 5 Atlanta’s reporting the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office and Fulton County Chaplain responded to the scene but the driver, who remains unidentified, had fled leaving few clues behind as authorities appeal to the public for information that might light a path to justice in this matter.
