A man wanted for involuntary manslaughter and neglect in the death of his son at a Greenville motel late last year has been apprehended and charged in Charlotte, but police continue to seek the dead boy’s mother.
The Greenville Police Department officers responded on Nov. 22 to a report of a suspicious death at Knights Inn, 3435 S. Memorial Drive. Upon arrival they found a 6-year-old boy dead in a room where his family had been living in “unsanitary conditions,” police said.
