NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An undercover operation by Metro Police detectives led to the arrest of a teenage armed robbery suspect in West Nashville.
According to arrest documents, undercover officers were on patrol Tuesday near a Subway on Old Hickory Boulevard in response to a series of armed robberies that had occurred at the restaurant.

Officials said a silver sedan driven by 19-year-old Keshawn Johnson stopped at a nearby apartment complex parking lot and got out of the vehicle. Detectives reported that Johnson walked around the back of the building, while wearing all black clothing and a ski mask, and waited for the customers inside to leave.
Johnson was captured on surveillance video entering the store, pointing a pistol at a victim and demanding money. When the cashier attempted to stall the robbery, the 19-year-old reportedly grabbed the cash from over the counter and fled…
