CSU Brings Back Free Family Movie Night at Canvas Stadium This Summer

An awesome event will be returning to Fort Collins that is fun for the entire family. Last summer I went to Movie Night at Canvas Stadium for the first time and I am really excited to tell you that Colorado State University is bringing it back for this summer.

Family Fun Returns to Fort Collins This Summer

Movie Night at Canvas Stadium is where Colorado State opens its football field and invites Northern Coloradans to watch a movie on the stadium video board.

What Is Movie Night at Canvas Stadium?

It is a really awesome experience. You get to bring blankets or towels to sit on and watch a movie for free. There are concessions available as well.

Watch a Free Movie Under the Stars

Colorado State University just announced the first movie of the year. On June 21, the university will be screening “Moana 2”.

That is the only Movie Night at Canvas Stadium announcement that is available at this time.

Know Before You Go in Fort Collins

There are a few things you need to know before you go. You need to keep in mind that you are not allowed to use pop-up chairs on the field. It makes sense due to the fact that Colorado State probably wants to keep its turf in good condition for the upcoming football season.

Also, while the event is free, you will need to pre-register online. You can do that here. Movie Night at Canvas Stadium does not allow pets and has a clear bag policy.
