Texas will have grants available for railroad crossing projects in wake of Milby HS student death

HOUSTON — A new Texas law will make railroad crossings safer for pedestrians and vehicles.

Governor Greg Abbott signed Senate Bill 1555 this weekend. One of the bill’s co-authors is calling it the biggest investment in rail safety in the state’s history.
