Case dismissed after resisting arrest suspect’s 3rd day of trial

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — All charges were dismissed Thursday against a man who was on trial after “overwhelming and clear evidence” revealed he wasn’t the person who ran from Bakersfield police after a traffic stop in January, according to the Kern County Public Defender’s Office.

A misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest and two traffic infractions were dismissed against Edgar Moreno. The case’s dismissal came after the third day of trial, according to a Public Defender’s Office release.
