‘Shadow’ police force removing homeless from downtown Nashville, state trooper says

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – On May 9, Michael Lambert was determined not to be arrested again.

The homeless man, sitting on Lower Broadway, hoping to attract donations with a humorous sign about his dog sitting beside him, abruptly stood up.

WSMV4 Investigates watched as another man, wearing a bright yellow shirt reading, “Downtown Ambassador,” leaned in to talk to Lambert.
