Haltom City residents asked leaders to improve open spaces. This 50-acre park provides new amenities

In 2019, Haltom City residents asked city leaders to consider redeveloping the 56-acre North Park.

The second biggest park in the city, North Park is now set to reopen June 7. Characterizing the project as “a long time coming,” parks and recreation director Christi Pruitt says Haltom City leaders are excited to showcase the park’s newest amenities to the public.
