BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The city of Bakersfield named Kevin Albertson as the new Fire Chief of the Bakersfield Fire Department.
Albertson has served the Bakersfield Fire Department since 2000, according to city officials. He has been serving as the interim fire chief since the retirement of John Frando in December 2024.
