CLEVELAND, Ohio — Haribo has issued a recall in the Netherlands after traces of cannabis were discovered in several packages of its popular Happy Cola F!ZZ gummies, the German candy company confirmed this week.
Dutch health authorities launched an investigation after a family in the Twente region reported feeling dizzy and unwell following consumption of the cola-flavored gummies. Tests revealed the presence of cannabis in three one-kilogram bags of the product.
Haribo has since pulled the affected items from shelves and is urging consumers not to eat the sweets. The recall applies to one-kilogram bags of Happy Cola F!ZZ with a best-before date of January 2026 and production code L341-4002307906…
