CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – It’s an issue 19 News put a spotlight on last week, trash troubles in the form of hefty fines for improper waste disposal.
But now there’s good news for Cleveland homeowners who voiced concerns that they were fed up with the city issuing $100 tickets, no matter how big or small the trash violation.
According to Cleveland City Councilman Charles Slife of Ward 17, Mayor Justin Bibb’s Administration has vowed to take a closer look at the trash tickets, and for now, they’re pushing the pause button on issuing the citations that are delivered by mail…
