Man accused of shooting at deputies, injuring K9

CALHOUN COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — A man is accused of shooting at deputies after they responded to a call on Thursday, according to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Jermaine Eric Halmon, 45, is charged with attempted murder and injuring a police dog.

Authorities say around 11:23 p.m., deputies responded to a home on Church Camp Road in Cameron after a report of a strange man, covered in mud, claiming someone was trying to kill him…
