Kenner Police Announce Third Arrest in Super Bowl Reporter Death

Kenner, LA – Police have arrested a third suspect in connection with the death of Telemundo sports reporter Adan Manzano. Manzano, 27, was found dead in his Kenner hotel room on February 5th while covering Super Bowl LIX. The coroner determined the cause of death to be a toxic combination of Xanax and alcohol.

Christian Anderson, 33, of New Orleans, joins previously arrested suspects Danette Colbert, 48, and Ricky White. Colbert, dubbed the “Bourbon Street Hustler,” is accused of targeting men in the French Quarter and robbing them. Police believe the trio drugged Manzano and stole his credit cards.

Surveillance footage shows Manzano and Colbert entering his hotel room around 4:30 a.m. on February 5th. Colbert is later seen leaving the room and using Manzano’s credit card.

This led police to identify and arrest her. Further investigation, including text messages and digital communications, revealed Anderson’s involvement in providing logistical support and assisting in the use of the stolen assets.

Anderson is charged with principal to simple robbery, purse snatching, access device fraud, illegal transmission of monetary funds, bank fraud, and computer fraud. He is currently being held at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center, along with Colbert and White. White is also facing murder charges in connection with Manzano’s death.

Colbert was recently sentenced to 25 years for unrelated theft and fraud charges. Police are urging anyone with information about Colbert’s activities to come forward. They believe there may be other victims who have not yet reported their experiences.
