BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The family of a woman, authorities say, was stabbed and killed by her husband, was at his scheduled court appearance Friday. The hearing was delayed to Monday.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said on May 28, 2025, at around 10 pm, deputies were called to the 2400 block of Monterey Street on the report of a stabbing that had just happened. KCSO said multiple reporting parties called KCSO dispatch and said a man, later identified as 44-year-old Rafael Estrada, had severely injured his wife.
