Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Homicide Unit are investigating a death in west Charlotte, according to an CMPD alert on X.
Shortly after 1 p.m., officers responded to a call for a welfare check in the 4400 block of Gold Acres Drive.
