”On May 28, 2025, at approximately 6:28 a.m., the Chino Police Department responded to a report of a possible home invasion robbery in the 12900 block of Benson Avenue. The reporting party, identified as Dustin Johnson, 43, of Chino, stated that individuals were inside his home, were armed with a hammer, and he had armed himself with a firearm.
Officers arrived at the scene and immediately established a perimeter to ensure the safety of nearby residents. During the incident, Johnson discharged a firearm multiple times inside the home. Officers quickly established communication with Johnson, who was convinced to exit the residence, where he was safely detained.
Although it was reported that a home invasion robbery occurred, no evidence or information has been found to substantiate this report. There are no outstanding suspects, no threat to the community, and there are no reports of any injuries at this time…
