The NorCal Peace Officers Association (NCPOA) meets monthly to discuss varying topics addressing safety concerns of community enforcement actions, including updates on new laws that are either in committee or have passed from state legislators. The board invites local district attorneys and law enforcement leaders to attend as guests or speakers.
It has been 23 years since Folsom hosted an NCPOA meeting, and Folsom Police Chief Rick Hillman believed it was time to bring back valley law enforcement officials and community leaders to eat and talk about law enforcement matters, recent legislative actions and National Police Week.
