Saint Paul Man Sentenced for Robbing Postal Workers at Gunpoint

A Saint Paul man has been sentenced to 11 years in federal prison for robbing two U.S. Postal Service employees at gunpoint in separate incidents in November 2023.

Rubin David Adams, 26, received a 132-month sentence on Wednesday after pleading guilty to two counts of armed robbery of a mail carrier.

He was also ordered to serve five years of supervised release and pay $77,998 in restitution. As part of a plea agreement, two additional counts for theft of postal service keys and mail theft were dismissed…
